Erasing

First we perform a full tree removal. The tree comes fashionably to the ground, and is hauled away by handsome people wearing hard hats.
Second we grind out the stump and roots, using a machine that looks very much like an angry triceratops with a spinning hammer head. This will break down the wood at, and under the ground into manageable pieces. The coarse chips from the stump and roots are smoothed out if they are getting covered with pine straw, mulch or otherwise incorporated into a bed.
If the spot is becoming lawn, the chips are too acidic and they must be moved, or removed, and the soil amended with a healthy topsoil to level things up nice and smooth.
